Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Nissan Juke

Today on our 2011 Nissan Juke, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class One Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see the cross tube is visible, however, it is nice and tucked up close to the bottom of the bumper fascia, so it's not gonna take away from the design of the vehicle. This is gonna be a Class One Hitch, so it's gonna require the use of Class One Accessories. It's gonna be inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, reinforced collar, give it a little extra stability there, hitch pin hole, is gonna be half inch in diameter, it's gonna take a standard half inch pin. Now it does not, the pin and clip does not come with the hitch, however, it can be found here at etrailer.com. more

That's what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see the cross tube is visible, however, it's nice and tucked up close to the bottom of the bumper face. It's not gonna take away from the look of the vehicle. It's gonna be a class I hitch. We're gonna have an 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 receiver tube opening. more

Hi there Juke owners today in your 2011 Nissan Juke, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Curt's class 1 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver. This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You will be able to see the cross tube across the bottom, as well as the receiver here at the back, but it is tucked up underneath fairly well, so it won't detract from the looks of the vehicle too much. It uses a half-inch hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com. Underneath it has plate-style safety chain loops that has a medium sized opening that should accommodate most shape, size, and styles of safety chain. more

Today on this 2016 Nissan Juke, we're going to review and install part number 24867 from Draw-Tite. This is their class One 1 1/4 receiver hitch. This is what the hitch looks like on our Nissan Juke. On first glance, you can see it sits relatively far back behind the bumper, probably at least a few inches or so. You also notice that the body does sit below the bumper, not tucked in behind it, so it does stay relatively hidden being reset so far back. This 1 1/4 inch opening right here and on the bottom here we have this ring here for safety chain hooks. We look right here, this is going to be our hitch pinhole and this used as a 1/2 inch diameter hitch pin or your favorite locking hitch pin. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Juke, we'll be installing the Curt 1-1/4 Inch Receiver Tube Hitch part number C11088. This is what our hitch looks like once it's installed. Next we're going to give you a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin holes to the outer most edge of the bumper is 3-5/8 inches. From the the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground, is 11 inches. Now we'll go ahead with the installation. Now to begin our install, we'll first go ahead and remove the tow hook on the passenger side. more

From the center of the hitch pinhole to the edge of the bumper is approximately 4". From the top of the opening of the hitch to the ground is approximately 12-1/4". Now we'll go ahead and install our hitch. To begin with we will need to remove the two hook that is located on the passenger side of the rear of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2012 Nissan Juke, we'll be installing Curt Hitch, part number C11088. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. Now we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements in helping you select some accessories such as a ball mount, bicycle rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper is approximately 4 inches and from the top of the opening of the hitch to the ground is approximately 12 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. To begin with we'll need to lower the exhaust down, there are three rubber isolators that we'll need to remove. Before you remove any of the rubber isolators, you'll want to go ahead and install a safety strap to help support the exhaust once they are disconnected from the rubber isolators. more
